 Gearmaster - The ultimate XL gear chart for CR80 and CR125.
This months feature is a downloadable Excel File for setting up gearing for a Honda CR80 or CR125.  There are 3 worksheets;

  • Ratio chart
  • User definable shift point, overrev RPM, gearing and tire size
  • Calculates RPM and MPH at shift points for up shift

The Ratio Chart is a no-brainer everyone has.
Select the CR125 Tab and you'll have the ability to see the big picture on all the gears!
Enter the Tire Circumference, the Shift RPM, the Overrev RPM, the motor Sprocket and the Axle Sprocket, and the chart calculates the speed of each shift along the RPM drop into the next gear.  No CR125 driver should be without this Gear Ratio tool.
For Netscape users the download is easy;  Just select the link below and the Gearmaster.xls will prompt you to Open File or Save to Disk.  For Internet Explorer users the link below will probably open the file within the browser.  You may save the file using one of the facilities provided by the browser.
In any case, you will need MS Excel version 5 or higher to open the file.
Download Gearmaster.xls
