A neat picture from the cover of "Racing Karts" magazine (June 1961) alludes to the full road test article in that issue of the Standun Cutlass kart with the hot Standun class C engine setup. Most class C karts in that era ran motorcycle engines adaped for kart racing (Yamahas, Villiers, Zundapps, etc.). Standun, however, went and designed a class C engine specifically for kart racing. That engine was like a motorcycle engine made for karts.
